About
The Rosenort Festival is a three day event which takes place the last weekend in August. The three day festival will be packed with family friendly events; ie. kids carnival, tennis tournament, fireworks, outdoor movie, show and shine… to name a few. The Festival is held to draw the community together using family friendly activities and events; while at the same time helping out others around the world. The community of Rosenort believes in helping others (as
we have so often been on the receiving end during the floods) and thus the Festival also has an element of reaching out beyond our little community. All festival proceeds go to support Operation Christmas Child. Volunteers will be collecting monetary donations, completed shoe-boxes and items for shoe-boxes throughout the entire weekend.
How to Pack a Shoe Box:
Find a Shoe Box
Use a sturdy shoe box or plastic box (please, no larger than 9x12x5”). You can wrap the box (lid separately), but wrapping is not required. Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes will be available for filling at the Rosenort Festival.
Boy/Girl Labels
Use the guidelines below to ensure the box is filled with a well-balanced variety of quality items that will bring joy to a child.
Decide whether your gift will be for a boy or girl and choose an age category: ages 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Attach the appropriate boy/girl label on the TOP of your box and tick the correct age category. Labels will be available at the Festival for placement on your box.
